On October 19^th, Wednesday, as the first event of ASBU CID Webinar Series 2022-2023 Academic Year Fall Semester, Dr. Omer Faruk Akbal, from International Monetary Fund, gave a webinar on  “A Good Luck or Good Policy? A Recent Macroeconomic History of New Zealand”.

On May 18th, Wednesday, as the fourth event of ASBU CID Webinar Series 2021-2022 Academic Year Spring Semester, Assoc. Prof. İzzet Arı, from our University, gave a webinar on "Recent Developments in International Climate Change Negotiations and Turkey's Policy".

On April 13^th, Wednesday, as the third event of ASBU CID Webinar Series 2021-2022 Academic Year Spring Semester, Dr. Emmanuel Pinto Moreira, from African Development Bank, gave a webinar on "Covid-19 and African Debt: Issues, Challenges, and Policy Responses".  

On March 16^th, Wednesday, as the second event of ASBU CID Webinar Series 2021-2022 Academic Year Spring Semester, Assoc. Prof. Thomas Ziesemer, from the Maastricht University, gave a webinar on his paper entitled "Foreign Income as a Second Driver of Growth".  

The webinar "Women's Legal Rights in Social Life" was held within the March 8^th International Women's Day events in partnership with our Centre (ASBU CID) and the Charity, Ibrahim Cecen (IC).

The webinar moderated by our Director, Assoc. Prof. Barış Alpaslan, was held with the participation of Atty. Berfin Çeçen Şenol, Board Member of the Charity, IC, and Atty. Elif Görgülü on March 9^th, 2022.

On February 16^th, 2022 Wednesday as part of the first program of ASBU CID Webinar Series 2021-2022 Academic Year Spring Semester, Assoc. Prof. Ayşegül Kayaoğlu from Istanbul Technical University Economics Department presented her talk entitled "Economic Integration of Syrian Refugees in Turkey".  The webinar was held in English via Zoom. 

On January 5, 2022 Wednesday, "Global Trends in Sustainable Logistics Practices" Panel organized by ASBU Centre for International Development (ASBU CID) was held online.

The panel moderated by ASBU CID Director Assoc. Prof. Barış Alpaslan was held with participation of Deputy Dean of ASBU Facuty of Political Sciences Assoc. Prof. Çağrı Koç, Assoc. Prof. Eren Özceylan from Gaziantep University and Assoc. Prof. Cihan Çetinkaya from Adana Alpaslan Türkeş Science and Technology University.

On December 15, 2021 as part of the third session of ASBU CID Webinar Series, Dr. Jean-Pascal Nganou from the World Bank presented his report entitled "Mines and Minds: Leveraging Mineral Wealth to Invest in People and Social Capital: The Case of Mongolia". 

The second event of the ASBU CID Webinar Series was held on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 with participation of Dr. Joaquin Naval from the Girona University. In the webinar Dr. Joaquin Naval presented his paper entitled "Quantitative Effects of Employment Protection in OECD Labour Markets". 

The first event of the 2021-2022 Academic Year Fall Sewmester of the ASBU CID Webinar Series was held on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 with participartion of Medipol University Faculty Member Prof. Burcu Yavuz Tiftikçigil. In webinar Prof.Burcu Yavuz Tiftikçigil presented her talk entitled "The European Green Deal in the SDGs Framework".

This year's last webinar was held on May 26, 2021 with the participation of Assoc. Prof. Katalin Zaim. 

In the event held online, Assoc. Prof. Katalin Zaim presented her talk entitled "Sustainable and Responsible Investing in the Post-COVID-19 Period".

The fourth speaker of our ASBU CID webinar series was Prof. Kunal Sen, Director of United Nations University World Institute for Development Economics Research (UNU-WIDER). Prof. Sen gave a speech on "COVID-19: Effects and Policy Responses in the Global South".

The third speaker of our ASBU CID webinar series was Assoc. Prof. Fatih Cemil Ozbugday. Dr. Ozbugday presented his paper entitled "Does Culture Matter for Economic Development?".
